i’ve actually gone out into the theaters quite a bit recently - seeing Wall-E and Wanted. the most i’m most excited for though, is tomorrow night’s new Batman movie in IMAX. big fan of Batman Begins, and how it doesn’t cheese it up the way other superhero movies do. from the reviews, this one is supposed to be pretty amazing (93% on rottentomatoes.com is pretty impressive). and, according to this article, a number of scenes were actually shot in IMAX.

apparently it’s a hot ticket on craigslist, too:

our worst nightmare almost came true…over the weekend, Bleecker went missing. it’s relatively normal for her to spend a night out in the backyard every now & then, but she always comes right back the next morning. she doesn’t make extended trips away.

by Sun afternoon, Amo & I were both really worried. we printed out a bunch of flyers and put them in all our neighbor’s mailboxes. Monday morning, Amo went to the shelter to check, but no luck. Finally, in the afternoon she got a call from a neighbor who received our flyer and identified Bleecker! she was stuck in someone’s garage. so she’s home again, a little dirty, but unphazed and back to her old, cuddly self. she is, however, grounded for life.
