leopard is out

technology | Friday, October 26th, 2007

mac os x 10.5 leopard is out. i’ve been using the GM for 2 weeks, and it’s great. not revolutionary, but really a nice refinement of tiger, which was already great. leopard has enough cool features out of the box to make it worth it, but more importantly it’s laying the groundwork for some really amazing software to be made.

the iTunes Store team moved into a sweet new building, and it’s *all* offices! the last place was so cramped, most folks had to double up within a cube. now i’ve got this beautiful view of the condo’s being built across the way.

PLUS, we get the entire weeks of Thanksgiving and Christmas off with pay.

PLUS, the stock is at $183.

PLUS, i got to play with Leopard the day it GM’d.
