it’s go time
on Saturday night we had a final get-together at our ex-lovely apartment. it was a great time, getting friends together for drinks…which inevitably led to a 3am drunken smoke-fest up on the roof.
we started dismantling the apartment on Sunday. Amo, who’s classes were cancelled the past 2 days, has had entirely too much time on her hands and has been packing non-stop. i’d say we’re about 1/3 of the way done already. it’s bittersweet to leave, but i am looking forward to making a new home together.
tomorrow night’s dinner in brooklyn w/her family. Thurs night is my going-away drinks with co-workers. Friday is my last day at work, and then Amo’s graduation party at Fat Cat Jazz & Billiards at night. Saturday is my grandma’s birthday party/family reunion. then Sunday night i’m off to SF…to find us a car & a home during my week off before the new job.
