this site has been hosted by powweb for the past 2 years or so, for about $8/mo. it’s way more space & bandwidth than the site needs, but i still shopped around a bit because my subscription is almost up.
shopping around turned up a crazy deal at dreamhost with the same features plus more, for only $10 per *year*. it’s a special coupon code for $100 off a normally $110 subscription. so there ya go…we’re moving. hopefully the transition will go smoothly…

i subscribe to tons of tech sites and one celebrity trash site - the superficial. i like their tagline, “because you’re ugly.” in Lindsay Lohan likes her teeth clean they’ve got pics of her picking her teeth at da silvano (around the corner from my apt). gotta love the internet.
on macs: installing programs
…is as easy as dragging the application icon to the “applications” folder. that’s it. no obscure installation questionnaire that you have to click through like on windows.
