macbook screen vs dell 2405fpw
i got the shipping notice on Monday morning, indicating it shipped from Shanghai…and it was here in NYC today (Tuesday) by noon. whoa. and i didn’t even opt for the priority shipping.
only had a few hours with it, but so far it’s pretty sweet. =)
my macbook shipped today! it’s being fedex’ed straight from the factory in shanghai. it shipped much earlier than expected - they said by 3/8, so it’s about 9 days early. it should be here by Thurs. i can’t friggin’ wait.
it’s getting quite good reviews, even though it’s a Rev. A product (the first of a new product line based on an entirely new technology).
Apple’s announcing some new product tomorrow…i’m guessing the Intel version of the Mac Mini. must…keep…wallet…in…pocket…
report are coming in on the apple discussion board for macbooks that they have begun shipping on 2/18. even though it’s 2/17 today, they ship from China where it’s already 2/18.
mine’s not scheduled to ship until 3/8. shit!
they also say if you call customer service and complain about the delay, Apple might give you a $75 credit. i might try that.
