a family-filled thanksgiving
it was a whirlwind family experience this thanksgiving. jean & jason flew in from LA on Thurs night and stayed with me thru Sat (a tight fit with 4 people and 2 cats…but fun!)
for thanksgiving dinner, i went with them and my bro to my uncle’s house in Ft. Lee and spent time with “dad’s side” of the family. unfortunately, amo had to be in boston for a family emergency and they didn’t get to meet her.
on Fri night, i hosted my first mini-family gathering at my apartment: amo, jean & jason, dave, danny, daniel, jan & rosemarie. it was a mostly kids affair (except for j&r) and a lot of fun. we played video games, watched movies, played poker, and topped it off by going to Fat Cat to play pool & ping pong.
and then on Sat the eating continued with both lunch & dinner at the Lupoli’s in Whitestone. again, lots of eating, talking, lounging, and more eating.
overall, a great family weekend. it was especially nice for my baby to spend quality time with my family and winning them over even more than before.
