excited over a garbage can
it’s blasphemous that there are $180 kitchen garbage cans for sale at bed, bath & beyond…even though i secretly really wanted one. so when i saw one marked down to $80 with an almost imperceptible dent in it, i jumped on it. not that i’d normally even consider an $80 one, but just looking at it and knowing it’s worth much more than i paid for it makes me feel like i’ve done my chinese ancestors proud.

pvd on nye
just bought our tix to see PVD @ Ikon this NYE. it’ll be my 3rd time seeing him this year - at Roxy in February (my last weekend of unemployment, which seems like a lifetime ago now) and in June at Summerstage/Central Park.
it’ll be a madhouse there on NYE, but i can’t think of any better way to ring in the new year.
