i got a baggie full o’ these little glow earrings. you just pull out a tiny plastic strip to enable the battery, and it glows really bright! for days!

when i leave the men’s bathroom at work, i use a paper towel to cover the doorknob on the way out. is that anal? i’m almost embarrassed to do it when someone else is around.

…is craig newmark, founder of craigslist - the site that’s changing the world (well, at least my life). the epitome of humility, craigslist continues to only charge minimally, has no advertising/marketing, and runs on 15 employees in rundown offices in SF - even though it’s now in 45 cities. ebay just bought a 25% stake, but i don’t think it’s going to change the way things work. here’s an in-depth interview with craig from sfgate.com.

i can’t play doom 3 anymore. it’s way too scary. i played for like 1/2 hr last night and had to stop. i don’t wanna play a game where i’m freakin out the whole time. it’s just not fun.

instead i came across another really highly rated game - far cry. it’s very half-life like, which was one of my favorite games.

this is what i’m wearing at work today, and i think it’s blogworthy. this t-shirt was a hand-me-down from my brother when he was in high school - it must be a good 20 yrs old now. somehow it’s managed to stick with me through college, about 10 different places i’ve lived in the bay area, countless vacations, and is still a regular part of my wardrobe. you go, bike tee.
