i saw this guy on burn night last year…walking across the playa in the pitch dark, you see what looks like a person engulfed in flames riding a bike - legs moving and everything. you stare in awe, and as he draws near, you finally see the guy in front.
there’s a groundswell of excitement in about 35,000 people right now, and next weekend they’ll all be in one place watching the man burn. =)
so i’m about to go into contract on this apartment after all. the high bidder dropped out because they bought something else, and now it’s in my court. a bunch of obstacles have come and gone over the past few weeks, and somehow i’m still in the game. let’s see how it goes. click the pic to see more.

i just bought a gazillion blinky light things from a korean toy outlet in midtown for dirt cheap!
KC is the macho frat-boy guy on the howard stern show. he’s always struggling to get by, and they always rag on him for his gambling habit cuz he’s so poor. so he tells this story this week, where he was playing on an internet casino and drew a royal flush with the maximum bet…and won $330,000! but it’s not a lump sum payment…they payout in $4000 installments a month. his gambling habit gets the better of him, and before receiving even the first payment, he’s lost THE WHOLE THING. howard berated him for like 1/2 hr about how stupid he is. what a crazy story.
