movin out (of Xanga)
i’m moving my blog back to my site <http://uninteresting.org>. i installed movable type into my web hosting account, which makes for a more flexible blogging platform. not to mention that i was always uncomfortable putting all this content into Xanga, a company that may not be around forever…and they don’t provide an easy way to get your content OUT, either.
with my movable type blog i’ve already been able to import all my old blogger posts and all my xanga posts, so it’s complete back to April, 2003. and the content is all within my own mySQL database, and easily exportable. it’s set up with a basic CSS template right now, but i’ll be tweaking it over time.
but anyways, my Xanga blog won’t be updated amymore. please go to <http://uninteresting.org>. like anybody’s reading this…
