i was in Borders Bookstore Union Square last night and got inspiration in the travel section…so i’m off to Aruba tonight! my first solo vacation. =) we’ll see how it goes. i’m planning on flying directly to Vegas next weekend for Chris Goodson’s bachelor party.

woohoo! i weighed 149 this morning…finally broke the 150 barrier. another 4-5 lbs and i’ll be good. not bad for having started the year around 168, eh? granted, i was probably dehydrated this morning from massive amounts of drinking last night, but i’ll take it. though i’m generally on a low-carb diet, the past few days i’ve been subsisting on frozen quiche that was left over from tomomi’s bridal shower.
last night was sno-drift -> endup -> home, where nette & mae sang karaoke til 5AM. i literally had to kick them out or else it woulda kept on going…=)
unemployment = summer vacation?
being unemployed reminds me a lot of summer vacation as a kid. i’d wake up whenever, bum around the house a bit, then get on my bike and ride around town…to friend’s houses, to go fishing, or just exploring. i’m doing the same thing now, except i’m biking around downtown SF…and there’s nobody else to play with because everyone is working. =( for some reason, i don’t quite feel as carefree as i did back then. sometimes it sucks being a grownup.
i’m in a starbucks near union square right now. tmobile’s hotspot service rocks…they lit up practically every starbucks and borders bookstore in the bay area, which are my favorite places to chill with my laptop.
